THE 'BLUE HOUR'
- Takes place in the evening
- 3 hour duration (approx)
- Difficulty Level: 4/5
At the foot of the l’Herpie peak you will follow the footsteps of the miners of the last century where you will pass near the, once was, highest coal mine in Europe.

When you reach the summit you will be facing the Grandes Rousses where the changing of the colours of the sky will memorise you.
After a small snack and equipped with a helmet light you will return to the resort in the absolute quiet of the night.

  • From the local Esf, we go towards the top of the Chalvet chairlift for 1 hour.
  • Arrived at the mines of Herpie, we engage along the Combe Charbonnière.

Your questions answered ...
Do the ESF guide you and do you need to be experienced in ski touring?
A beautiful and aerial route to experience.
"If you would like to escape and to get even closer to the sun before seeing it disappear, we will guide you. I love this magnificent route that ends on the crest of the Combe Charbonnière. The historical side brings even more value. "
