Frequently asked questions

HOW OUR SKI LESSONS WORK

Do I have to buy a ski lift package?
The passes are free for children under 5 (access card to be picked up at the ski lift office upon presentation of a proof of age and a photo).
For beginner and Teddy Bear levels, do not buy a lift-pass and wait for the instructor’s instructions during the week!
For the snowflake and 1st star levels, we recommend you to purchase the Initiation package at 118€ (6 days package giving access to all the domain except Pic Blanc and Marmottes 3).
For the levels of the 2nd star to Team stars, we advise you to purchase the Progression package at 232.5€ (6 days package giving access to the entire ski area).
For the levels beginner and adult class 1, we advise you to purchase the Inititation package at 290.5€ (6 days package giving access to the entire ski area).
For competition level and other adult levels, purchase of the full area ski pass directly from the lift pass office.
I have only booked half-day lessons. Is my lift pass valid for the rest of the day outside of my lesson time?
Yes, whether it is the Initiation package or the Progression package, your lift pass is valid all day for 6 days.
What do I do if I am late to pick up my child?
If you are ever late to pick up your child at the end of their lesson, please let us know by phone and we will have them wait in our offices with our hostesses. That is to say in the ESF Chalet of Grandes Rousses or in the ESF office of Bergers depending on the meeting point and departure area of the lesson.
Do you provide ski equipment?
No, we don't take care of the hardware. The resort's sports shops are there for this, and they will advise you on the choice of equipment according to the levels and desires of each. Let the professionals guide you!
I will only be there for 5 days, is the price of the group lessons cheaper than the 6-day card?
Whether for 5 or 6 days, the price is the same since it is a package. Indeed, if you only take 3 days it will be 3 times the single unit rate, on the other hand, from 4 days, it will cost you more than the weekly rate.
Am I insured with my bank or credit card?
Each card being different, check directly with your bank in order to know all the conditions on your cover (rescue, repatriation, reimbursement of care, reimbursement of ski lessons, reimbursement of ski lift passes etc...)!
