The lovers of Alpe d'Huez  will tell you that you
MUST ski the Perrins.

Enter a life-size canvas, close to the ice waterfalls which is, undoubtedly, one of the most beautiful routes in the Grande Massif.
You start your adventure at an altitude of 2800m.
The beginning of the route is smooth as you ski towards the lakes of Middle and Fare. Then you open your eyes wide! The valley is on one side and the Grandes Rousses glacier on the other.
The highlight of the show are the cliffs dressed in ice waterfalls.

The 'Mythical West' programme details

The success of this trip will depend on weather conditions. If conditions require adjustments or suspension of this programme we will notify you the day before.
DVA initiation mandatory if not used to it !
The morning
  • See you at 9.00am at the esf Grandes Rousses.
  • Safety is a priority! Distribution of safety equipment before departure and preparation for the outing: snow conditions, weather etc..
  • Depart at 9:15am to the ski lifts to reach an altitude of 2800m, either by the Pic Blanc or by the dome of Les Rousses.
  • We follow the slopes towards the lakes of the Middle and the Fare.
  • Nous suivons les pentes en direction des lacs du Milieu et de la Fare.
  • We arrive at the entrance to the south Perrins corridor. From there a route awaits us in a vast valley surrounded by cliffs and ice cascades.
  • Return by the Vaujany cable car. 
  • Back at noon to esf
